Translation Services

Professional translation services including general, certified, notarized, legal, technical, and medical translations.

General Translation

This is the simplest service we offer and most of our translations fall into this category. Written in language that is easy to understand, you can be confident that our translations are accurate word-for-word. To be doubly sure, documents are automatically proofread by a native speaker to ensure precise wording. Babylon Translation Centre specialises in Arabic and English. But we can translate into many more international languages, meaning you only have to deal with one company. Ask us what we can do for you.

Certified Legal Translation

Accepted by All Official Authorities in Bahrain

Do you need to submit a translated document to a government authority in Bahrain?
Not all translations are accepted — they must be certified legal translations.

At Babylon Translation Centre, we provide accurate and officially accepted translations for all types of legal and official use.

Who Is This Service For?

This service is designed for:

  • Individuals submitting documents to government offices

  • Companies handling legal or commercial matters

  • Anyone dealing with official procedures in Bahrain

Where Can You Use Our Translations?

Our certified translations are suitable for:

  • Court cases and dispute resolution

  • Police stations

  • Lease agreements and contracts

  • Government authorities

  • Legal and official submissions

What Does “Certified Translation” Mean?

A certified translation means:

The translation is accurate and complete
It is stamped and signed by an authorised translation office
It is accepted by official authorities in Bahrain

What Documents Can Be Translated?

We handle a wide range of documents, including:

  • Contracts and agreements

  • Court documents

  • Police reports

  • Certificates (birth, marriage, etc.)

  • Commercial documents

  • Power of attorney

Notary Public Service

Notarised translations are signed by the translator in front of a notary, who will stamp and witness the document as proof that it is correct. This differs from a certified translation, which does not need to be verified by a notary. Translations for admission to foreign high schools, colleges and universities will probably need to be notarised. Documents for legal, contractual or immigration purposes generally require a certified translation. Don’t worry about which translation you might need – our experts will be able to advise you.

Notary Public Service

Apostille & Legalisation Service

Do you need to use your documents outside Bahrain?
You may be asked to legalise or get an apostille stamp on your documents. Don’t worry — most people find this confusing. We are here to make it simple for you.

At Babylon Translation Centre, we handle the full process for you from start to finish.

What is an Apostille?

An apostille is a special stamp that makes your document valid in another country that is part of the Hague Apostille Convention.

If your document has an apostille:

  • You do NOT need embassy attestation

  • You do NOT need Ministry of Foreign Affairs stamping

  • The document is accepted directly in the other country

Example:
A UK-issued document with an apostille can be used in many countries without any extra steps.

What is Legalisation?

If the country you are dealing with is NOT part of the Apostille Convention, then your document must go through legalisation.

This usually includes:

  1. Notary Public

  2. Ministry of Foreign Affairs

  3. Embassy of the destination country

This process is longer and more complicated — but we handle everything for you.

Apostille or Legalisation — Which One Do You Need?

This depends on the country where you will use your document.

  • If the country accepts apostille → You need Apostille-

  • If not → You need Full Legalisation

Still not sure? Don’t worry we will check it for you for free.
